Aditya Azad is a Ph.D. student in Robotics Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where he joined the Aerial-Robot Control and Perception (ACP) Lab in August 2025. His research focuses on learning-based navigation for quadrotors.

Before WPI, he earned his M.S. in Computer Science from New York University in 2025. At NYU he worked in the Agile Robotics and Perception Lab, first maintaining the lab’s Docker and Singularity software pipeline and then conducting multi-robot research, including real-world multi-robot experiments. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Purdue University (2022).

Outside the lab he enjoys hiking, reading, painting, and building software.
